can i take 3 suppositories in one day? i took 2 earlier in afternoon. it didn't help.  can i take 1 more at night to relieve myself?

Laxative?: If 2 hasn't helped, another one will not likely work. You may try a different type of laxative but if you are having a lot of discomfort and the problem is persistent or getting worse in the next few days, be sure to contact your doctor.  Since you did not provide your age, it is difficult to provide a more specific answer.

Yes: Glycerin is an inert substance, so there is no risk of the medication being absorbed into the system. A bigger question though, is why would you use it that often?

: That is not a problem. The two treat different things. Fluconazole for yeast infection only and boric acid vaginal insertions for yeast, bacterial vaginosis and trichomoniasis.

Bleeding: I believe that you will get the best care and follow-up for this problem from a proctologist or colorectal surgeon. If hemorrhoidal pain is severe, it usually indicates a thrombosed hemorrhoid which needs to have a clot removed. If pain has abated but bleeding is profuse, you will need care from the specialists.

What: If you are currently having bowel obstruction, taking MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) would be bad, very bad. Think of it like plumbling. If you main drain of the toilet is block, greasing or flushing the toilet is not going to unclogged the blockage for you. If you had a bowel blockage but resolve now then taking MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) is ok.

Why?: Suppositories should never be a routine method of treating constipation. Dietary fiber, or miralax, (polyethylene glycol) can be used safely for long term management; suppositories cannot.

Yes: If no results and you still have an urge to have a bm, insert a fleets enema. If still no results and especially if you develop abdominal cramping or distension, have a rectal examination to determine if you're impacted and need manual disimpaction.

Suppositories: Yes, go ahead and try another one. 3 minutes is not long enough for it to get absorbed and start working, especially if you saw it intact when it came out. To prevent constipation, consider adding fiber to your diet (beans, fruits, veggies, whole gains) and limit cheese and meats. Drink plenty of water.
