i am experiencing  burping, mucus in stool and abnormal urine stream. my burps taste minty and my urine smells like penicillin. i am not taking penicillin, what could cause these abnormalities.?

See a doctor: Most likely no single health problem is causing all these symptoms. Strong urine odor usually means dehydration, i.e. not taking in enough fluids. Other symptoms may be irritable bowel syndrome. Best to see a doctor and stop trying to figure it out on your own or through online resources. Good luck!

can an antibitic break ups mucous plug in the bronchi tube?

Not directly: Obviously treatment of the bronchitis/pneumonia will help in the long run, but the antibiotic itself will not resolve the mucous plugging.

hi!  my 6 year old daughter had a bronchoscopy done  and the pulmonologist said he found viscous mucous in the bronchus..  is this cf?

Viscous mucus: Patients with cystic fibrosis  produce thick mucus, they have so many signs &amp; symptoms,  but if you are worried about it &amp; his doctor is considering this possibility,  he can be tested for it with a sweat chloride test. Good luck.

the main problem is coming from the mucus build up. i only cough to get it loose and and body aches from all the coughing.

Fluids/rest: Monitor your temperature, rest and drink fluids.  I would suggest seeing your PCP if there are prolonged symptoms. Nasal saline and cool air mist may relieve symptoms. Your symptoms are similar to the flu and there is treatment available. Please discuss testing and flu treatment with your PCP.

occasional visible mucus in stool. stool is well-formed and no blood. went to primary care doctor who took occult test and culture of stool but no abnormalities found. had a colonoscopy two years ago and everything was normal. taking spironolactone ?

Urgent care: Based on the symptoms you mentioned, it would be more appropriate for you to seek medical attention at an urgent care clinic.  These can address non -emergencies, and keep the ER clear for life threatening matters.  If you were having difficulty breathing and needing breathing treatments and/or dehydrated etc, then the ER might be appropriate.  Google urgent care and several should pop up!

Post-void dribbling: Post-void dribbling is the leakage of a bit of urine after the penis is back in the pants. A man can see his primary care doctor or a urologist, since men can have prostate problems. If the penis is normal and the foreskin is not trapping urine, then be sure the penis hangs freely while peeing. One should relax at the end to let the last drops come out. Women who drip have different issues.
