i've heard that silver msm drops can help your body get rid of eye floaters over time. is there any truth to this or am i wasting my time?

Floaters: I would seriously doubt that. An ophthalmologist should be able to answer this question. To my knowledge,eye floater removal requires a surgical vitrectomy or a laser procedure.

No: This does not work to change eye color.  There are a few medications used to treat high pressure in the eye that can darken the eyes. 

The most common way to change eye color is to wear colored contact lenses.

will msm and alpha-arbutin eye drops lighten my eye color? if not what medication can i use to permanently kill the melanin in my eyes.

Melanin will never : Be killed. It's a permanent fixture in the eye. In fact,  certain eyrdrops can actually turn the color of the eyes from blue or green to brown permanently. So you have nothing to worry about. Your iris color helps protect your eyes from too much sun, and creates the pupil opening to being light and images in. So you want to keep it healthy, and not kill it.

is it possible that any kind of eye drops produce eye floaters? i am afraid to use antibacterial eyedrops for this reason!

No.: Eye drops do not cause floaters.  Floaters are usually due to precipitation of protein in the vitreous humor (the jelly that fills the eye ball).  Eye drops stay on the surface of the eye.  A person who has sudden onset of a huge number of floaters should consult an eye doctor, since that may be due to hemorrhage in the eye.

Ineffective : I am unfamiliar with the medications that you have referred to. However, there are no eye drops or other medications that treat floaters that are effective. I suggest you find a new eye doctor.

i had lasik three months ago,some flaoters has appered, two weeks ago i have eye exam(to check cause of floaters) and get some dilation eye drops and since then i started have starbrusts,halos increased, like rays come from lights,it's 16 days now?

Exam: It sounds like a floater, particularly if it moves with your gaze.  I advise just to have a dilated eye exam by an ophthalmologist to reassure that's what it is. Eye drops do not make floaters go away or lessen. Floaters may take a long time to settle in the eye and are not expected to disappear.  You will adapt and will  begin to ignore them generally.

Floaters: Eye floaters are those tiny spots, specks, flecks and "cobwebs" that drift aimlessly around in your field of vision. While annoying, ordinary eye floaters and spots are very common and usually aren't cause for alarm.
Most eye floaters and spots are harmless and merely annoying. Many will fade over time and become less bothersome. In most cases, no eye floaters treatment is required.

posterior uveitis rt eye diagnosed thurs. started me on durezol drops 4x a day. i feel i need oral pred and seeing my uveitis doc monday. this is my second flare in 8 years. i caught this one early but many floaters. how long to resolve do you think?

: No distant forum doc can accurately advise you without more detail about the likely cause of uveitis, knowing whether the diagnosis is confirmed since you haven't yet seen an ophthalmologist, etc. The steroid drops you were prescribed might be all you need -- but in any case there is unlikely any harm in waiting until tomorrow and your visit with the ophthalmologist. Depends: floaters are caused by vitreous (the jelly inside the eye) degeneration. lubrication, steroid, and eye drops of any kind will not affect the presence of floaters. Most floaters will go away over time, usually months. You should see your ophthalmologist if new floaters, flashes of light, or a dark curtain in your vision (all signs of retina detachment).
