Can't Say.: However, regularly drinking soda has been linked to Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease, Diabetes, heart disease &amp; metabolic syndrome. Other possible risks include: increased weight, decreased bone mineral density (BMD) obesity, erosion of tooth enamel, mineral depletion &amp; dehydration. If it contains artificial sweeteners &amp; is used daily, this is linked to a 3 fold ^ in dementia &amp; stroke.

Doctor can examine: Frequency of masturbation varies a lot. For some, once every 8 wks seems too much; but for others, once every 8 hrs seems not enough. One should maybe cut back if he often thinks of doing it less, if he starts feeling guilty about it, if it interferes with daily activities such as school or work, if it causes testicular swelling or pain, etc...  A doctor can examine to be sure the testis is ok.

Many reasons: Torsion (/"twisting") of the testicle or its appendix; local trauma; epididymitis or other infection; other causes of swelling; tumor...Sorry there are a lot of potential causes. If pain intensifies, can indicate an emergency. Best to get it checked out--urgent care or er if severe (also er can usually get ultrasound to evaluate it).

Could be but: Pain in the testicle or surrounding area can be due to a number of causes, some of which can be important to treat.  For example, intermittent torsion (twiisting of the  testicle comprimising the nerve and vascular supply, inflammation or infection in the epididymis, and other conditions can cause pain.  Best to get it checked.
