i have little pimple like itchy bumps on my body. these are not mosquito bites and not bed bug bites because they don't come in clusters what wrong ?

There are so many: reasons to have lesions that fit that description that it isn't even reasonable for me to guess at it.

Looks, Located, #s: Mosquito bites are generally just a few and follow being recently outside in the evening or night. Bed bug bites are more commonly located on the legs & feet and may cover large areas. Both mosquito & bed bug bites will have individual punctures. Hives tend to cover larger areas and have more aof a rash appearance.  When in doubt, see your md to be certain.

hi doctors. during the night i noticed  two different welts at different times, one on my right forearm and one on my leftforearm. tbey went away fairly quickly like mosquito bites. could they be bed bug bites or spider bites? no bloodon bed no amber

Urticaria: Hives may present like transient welts on various parts of the body. See dermatologist should they recur and continue, esp if @ shortness of breath or swelling of mouth parts

Bed Bugs are hard: to see because they are nocturnal. Bed bug bites may
have no sx's/signs except for 2 small skin puncture points. A reaction may show from an hr to several days later. It can cause itchy, pink, swollen, lesions w clear center. If hypersensitive blisters may occur. Telltale sign is linear track of lesions from sequential feedings – doesn't always occur. Bites are in areas exposed while sleeping-arms

Unlikely: Although your description of the appearance of the bites is consistent with bedbug bites, they are usually in a line or row and are very itchy. Other types of bugs and some diseases can also cause red bumps on the skin that resemble bedbug bites. Bedbugs usually bite exposed areas of the skin (face, arms, neck). I am not sure what the bumps are from.

See dermatologist: Although these may be from bug bites, it may also be from something else. If the problem is recurrent and has been present for more than 6 weeks, consider consulting a dermatologist.

Cannot say: Bed bugs are nocturnal feeders and tend to show clusters of bites in those affected. They occur within the covered areas of skin, in deference to mosquito bites that usually involve exposed extremities. The only way I would know is if you brought in a bug, which has happened. (it fell of the kid during an exam).

Antihistamines can be used for the itch, as well as topical creams like cortisone 10. Bed bugs: You can take antihistamines if you feel itchy. Topical steroid creams can be used on lesions. For a severe allergic reaction to bites – please seek medical evaluation and treatment.
