Complex regional Pain Syndrome: It is hard to predict what are the chances of a successful response to morphine pump. Other options are spinal cord stimulator, medications like cymbalta, lyrica, (pregabalin) amitriptyline, nortriptyline or neurontin.  This should all be combined with physical therapy. There are specialty pharmacies that can prepare topical compound products with analgesics, muscle relaxers and any inflammatory medications.

i've been admitted to hospital for severe infection/pain. is 2 mg of iv morphine consider an effective treatment for pain? right to ask for more?

Pain management: Everyone experiences pain a little bit differently. 2 mg of morphine is a good place to start  -but u may need more depending on a number of factors. I always describe pain as a 'tidal wave' -u need to be out in front before it's crashing over you-then it's harder to catch up. Docs in hospitals sometimes undermedicate because they need to watch u for symptoms that could indicate worsening. Hold on

Not recommended: Morphine is not recommended in your case. Further work up might be needed and a trial of physical therapy should be included in your treatment plan. Addressing and treating your depression should help as well.

It's not that simple: IBS describes a constellation of signs and symptoms that we are only beginning to understand. Though we know it involves the disruption of the microbiome, we have yet to know how to effectively restore  it, and how to address its neuro-psychiatric effects. Unfortunately, it is this ambiguity that has led many to have unrealistic expectations of a cure at this time.  Don't get discouraged!

Depends: The answers rests in what your body can handle.  If your health and medications you are on permit, it is always better to use blocks and other non narcotic (morphine) options.   Always follow the advice of your pain specialist.  It can be hard to do because pills seem easier but pills can be dangerous in long run.

Depends : Depends on what’s in the nebulizer.  If just saline (salt water), probably not.  If albuterol, also not really unless you are wheezing.

If you are sufficiently short of breath or coughing that you feel you need a nebulizer, it is very likely that you are sufficiently sick as to need medical care.  See your doctor (or Urgent Care) ASAP

: Maybe/not. You don't mention why you do a nebulizer treatment, but Nyquil and similar products contain a sedating anti-histamine as its main active ingredient. Antihistamines in that class can thicken mucus secretions and most docs discourage their use in asthmatics. If this product does not seem to affect you in a negative way it may be okay to use. Timing would be of little importance.
