Moringa oleifera is a nutritional supplement that is most like a multivitamin of sorts although it contains a large amount of potassium and phosphorus and protein. It would not be advised to take if someone has chronic kidney disease. It's effects on immunosuppressive medication is not clearly known.

Two types : First those related to immunosuppression. It affects t cell immunity so you can get viruses (like CMV and ebv) and rarely lymphoma. Second idiosyncratic side effects including elevated creatinine, high blood pressure and high potassium. Seizures, tremor. Hair loss.  Despite all of these side effects, one of the best drugs for transplant patients. Can  be used very safely.

Other known side effects include tremor, elevated blood pressure, elevated blood glucose, and hair loss.
