Read the Wikipedia : Entry on morgellons.  There is no evidence from conventional medicine and several university students that there is such a disease. Of course your blood test shows no morgellons, because there is no such thing.  There maybe other reasons for your itchy scalp.

Bug: why dont you take a picture of it so it can be identified and then treated
make sure if you treat the lice  the eggs should to treated also and the contacts should be treated also
be sure to comb hair with a fine tooth comb

Likely a mole: Skin imperfections are common and appear more & more as you age. I would have the kids doc look at it at his next visit to assess it's character.Most are quite innocent in that age group.

: Would follow up with  dermatologist. Do you scratch and then get the rash or does the  rash precede the scratching? May be scabies. F/u/ w/ dermatology

Not DLE: Doubt  DLE - with ithing consider psoriasis or other  rash - can see dermatology for diagnosis

i had a scab on the front of my scalp and it fell off now its just white it looks like a small circle for almost 3 months what should i do to return my pigmentation?

Accepted Answer

: Pigmentation is generated by melanocytes inside and deep to the skin surface. Covering the site with vitamin E gel or sunscreen can prevent sun injury while the pigment regenerates. There are some newer meds available but likely not worth the investment in time for a small spot that will self resolve over time.

Get checked.: Get checked. you may have "crabs", a parasite.  It may be dirt or lint or bits of your hair product.  See your doc, or go to a beauty parlor/barber shop and ask them what's going on.

: Have your doctor or a dermatologist look at this and check it out properly.  It is an unusual complaint so find out what it is.  Best wishes. Did you have a wound or anything to the scalp that you remember!
