i think my fiance has molluscum contagiosum on the shaft of his penis, is there anything we can do like home remedies for this? how did he get this?

Very common: Mc is caused by a "pox virus" and these are extremely common.  They are also easily transmitted.  They usually just go away on their own and do not require treatment.  There are no effective home remedies.  He could visit a doctor and it can be "burned" off or treated with freezing.

No home remedies: Treatment is best by an experienced clinician, including curettage (scraping them off, less painful than it sounds), freezing, or imiquimod prescription (Aldara, Zyclara). After treatment you are still infectious for sex partners for a few weeks. You should avoid sex (even with condoms) with new or uninfected partners until you've gone at least a month with no new bumps.

You can: A person may be infected both the viruses at the same time. It would be prudent to see your doctor and rule out other sexually transmitted diseases.

: Molluscum is not red so it could be something else- eg skin infection etc. do not sqeeze it . It might go away. If not pl see your doc/ Urologist

Probably not PPP: Pearly penile papules persist for years, but having only one is unusual. As we discussed in an earlier question, this also isn't like to be molluscum; re-read that reply. It's time for you to stop trying to figure it out online; you'll never know what it is that way, and no point in repeated questions on this or any other forum. Not Advisable: While you can treat molluscum with the otc wart freezing products,  the skin on the penis is thinner and can be more easily damaged by improper treatment.  I would advise having someone with a lot of experience freezing items in that area do the treatment.  It is a fine line between freezing the wart just enough for treatment and damaging the skin.

Probably not MC: Single molluscum contagiosum lesions are unusual -- generally there are several. And MC almost always is cleared by the immune system long before a year. So probably this is something else, perhaps some sort of skin cyst. See a doctor for diagnosis. Good luck!
