Depends on species: Not all molds are pathogenic, meaning can cause disease, to humans. If someone has a weak immune system because of illness or drugs, it is always a possibility.

Contact dermatitis: Contact dermatitis with exposure to mold can be treated with topical steroid creams.  If you are trying to clean mold from surfaces in your home like bathroom use an cleaner like CLR mold and mildew cleaner but always wear gloves.  Larger mold issues such as mold in dry wall should be cleaned by a mold mediation specialist.

Yes: and in the case of dry skin, one may see small raised bumps especially at the extremities. These will often be prevented by using a moisturizer with 3 minutes after bathing. A rash can also be induced by scratching as well. Some skin rashes are caused by allergies (often contact, drug etc) while many are not.

Something else?: If the rash improved without treatment only to return a few days after (your dates were not defined), then the problem may be from something other than the drug implicated.  If the rash was treated and returned after the treatment was stopped, then the rash (if due to the drug) may last for 2-3 weeks.

Maybe: If it is a viral exanthem it will continue coming out until it fades. It represents a combination of dead virus and antibodies that leak out of capillaries under the skin.Sometimes a hot shower or bath will speed the process. It is usually faded within 2 wks. The atarax is for any itching an the steroid cream is ????. I suppose they give you something to do.

Dermatitis: Dermatitis is an allergic response by your skin to anything irritating. It could be something you ate, something new you used near your skin or a response to an environmental allergen such as a pet or pesticide. Use an oral Antihistamine for itch relief and antiinflammatory effect.

Itch without Rash: may be do to a LARGE # medical conditions  and you need to consult with a Medical Professional for some testing...the very first thing to do is ask yourself if you have been taking anything or eating anything "unusual" Have you used a new DETERGENT to wash your clothes.
Any PETS in the house....
In the meantime an OTC anti-histamine may be useful BENADRYL (Diphenhydramine) may help.

??Hives??: Sounds like hives with possibly some angioedema (swelling within the dermis). Also known as urticaria. Try a simple antihistamine to see if this helps, if not, you should have someone look at the rash since this isn't the place to diagnose a rash. Needs to be visualized.
