No you are not: Chances are that this medication has been prescribed to you because you are suffering from some form of excessive daytime sleepiness. This would require that you take it seven days a week. By not taking it on weekends you are only going to sleep through the weekends due to the underlying illness that the medication was prescribed for to begin with. Please take it as prescribed.

Depends on disease: Medications and their doses are selected according to the symptoms or disease being treated. What is the disease being treated here?
