Nothing: If it is a one time thing you are fine. Just don&#x27;t miss your next dose.

The progestin-only pill MUST be taken at the same time each day (no more than 3 hours late). If you miss a pill, you will increase your chances of releasing an egg that could be fertilized and lead to a pregnancy.

Low dose bcp's: If you are taking low dose oral bcp's , this kind of irregularity could allow loss of protection from your oral bcp's.  Stop this pack now, wait for five days, use additional forms of birth control, and start a new pack. If no bleeding occurs in the five days, obtain a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy.

Generally : Generally if you miss one pill you can double up the next day.  If you miss two pills you can double up for two days (two one day and then two the next).  If you miss more than two pills you are at risk for pregnancy and should use backup birth control (condoms) for the rest of that month.  Missing four pills and then taking four at once will not protect you from pregnancy.  Regarding the bleeding, you will probably bleed on and off until you have started your next month of pills.  Use condoms and just keep taking one per day.

Spotting or pregnant: Missing birth control pills can lead to breakthrough bleeding and can also lead to accidental pregnancy especially if backup birth control such as condoms are not used.. A pregnancy test should be done if no period occurs as expected at the end of the pill pack.

Missed pill: If you are due for the placebos now then yes.  Be aware though that since you missed more than one pill this cycle you either need to abstain or use condom.

Breakthrough bleed: You can take your pills twice daily for 5 to 10 days to see if the bleeding stops, skip the placebo pills and start the new pack right away. Treat the new pack as you would normally. Also contact your doctor so they are aware. Good luck!

Unprot sex = prg cha: Any time u have unprotected sex, u have a chance of becoming pregnant. Birth control pills (BCP) lower the risk, but there have been cases of "failure" of BCPs. The fact that u missed a few doses probably slightly increases your chances. You did the right thing in "making up" the missed doses, but when u take BCP erratically, it is less effective. If you want to knw, take a home pregnancy test.

Yes.:  If you forget to take your pills for 2 days, take 2 pills the day you remember and 2 pills the next day. You will then be back on schedule.
