Active TB.: If your diagnosis is confirmed by skin PPD test, sputum cultures, blood antibodies test, X-ray of the lung  (if it's pulmonary form) or CT scan, than several anti-TB antibiotics would be prescribed for you, depending on the bacterial sensitivity test. The length of the treatment and amount of antibiotics your doctor should discuss with you during  your appointment, because it vary.

No such thing: A chest Xray typically lags behind a persons clinical status when referring to TB.  I'm assuming from the induced sputums they did on you..that they had sensativities to the bacilli.  Therefor it should be gone.  There is no such term as minimal pulmonary TB.  It needs to be 100% gone..there no acceptable minimum.  You won't be contagious to anyone at this point either.

Scar vs. active TB: Sometimes pulmonary TB when treated leaves scar tissue and does not entirely clear from chest Xray. If area has decreased in size and not progressed is a good sign. Radiograph is only one parameter. Drug treatment typically lasts for at least 6 months and sometimes longer. Stopping treatment too early can result in a recurrence of the infection and can lead to the development of drug-resistant TB

Kids are susceptible: Kids are quite susceptible to tuberculosis and it appears your daughter must have contracted it. In the Philippines, there are many, many cases. Hopefully she can get good treatment -and I expect it to resolve completely and she would be cured. Not sure 'where' you live in the Phils, but San Lazaro in Manila has knowledgeable staff. Possibly: There is a blood test called interferon-gamma release assay that is available in United States. The test is specific enough to detect active tb, as well as latent TB that is present in a patient. In addition, to the chest x-ray, you can look for symptoms like low-grade fever, night sweats, weight loss, coughing, etc.

Followup: High cure rate with full treatment regimen.
But followup, with x-rays and sputum a is relevant.
Your internist, or pulmonologist is the right discipline.
You are correct to be concerned as recurrence has happened.
Avoid steroids, smoking, etc.
