Implosion.: This means that the vertebra essentially collapsed in upon itself.  Another term for this is "vertebral compression fracture".  Sometimes happens with osteoporosis or with vertebral infections.

can scheuermans disease exist with two mild wedged vertebrae?  or does it have to be 3 consecutive?

Scheuermanns: Sheuermanns disease is classified as typical or atypical. Typical or classic is hyperkyphosis in thoracic spine with wedging of 3 or more adjacent vertebral bodies.  Atypical Scheuermanns is lumbar or thoracolumbar with decreased lordosis and may have fewer vertebrae involved.

i was pushing on my c1 vertebra because it felt misaligned. pushed hard. have since had neck pain and what seems like very mild  trigmental neuralgia type symptoms. read that nerve passes by the c1 vertebrae. did i do serious damage?

It appears that : The slight straightening may either suggest that your body was positioned in such a way that this came about or reflecting some muscle spasm.  The block vertebra is a congenital or something you were born with which may also be a sign of other possible congenital issues in your spine or body so see a spine specialist if symptoms persist

i had a mild lower back pain for 2 months. the lower vertebrae is sore to touch. saw an osteo before which provided temp relief. how to fix?

EXERCISE: You need to start a program of regular back exercises (Your Primary Care Provider will have a list of Spine exercise) You must develop the muscles on either side of your spine (Paraverterbral muscles) and strengthen you sacral musculature all to KEEP A NORMAL ALLIGNMENT. The rest will take care of itself!

Curved spine: It is normal to have 12 ribs. There is a slight curve at the top of your thoracic spine. At t7, the vertebra looks more trapezoidal than rectangular. May indicate a compression fracture, or is normal for you. These findings need to be put in context of any symptoms you might have. If you have no symptoms, there is nothing that needs to be done. Check with a spine specialist.

transitional lumbosacral anatomy. the inferiormost, well- formed disc space is labeled l5-s1. mild retrolisthesis of l5 on s1. minimal retrolisthesis of l4 on l5. the lumbar vertebrae are normal in height. would this cause me pain? what does it mean?

: Retrolisthesis is a relatively uncommon finding by spine X-ray. This condition does not often cause any symptom but neck or back pain can be a presenting symptom. In general, the observed X- ray change may not correlate well with the symptom. i underwent a back x-ray due to back pain. it showed generalized diminished bone density and mild scoliotic change in the lumbar vertebrae, while the intervertebral space is unchanged. i'll undergo an mri, should i be worried?

No: Unfortunately some of the back changes we get are genetic and some are from overuse. Once the results of your MRI are known, your doctor will have some solutions of how to treat your problems. All the best.

Calf pain: Consider muscle strain most likely. Other causes may be congenital or metabolic.

Long term: Complications include pain and degenerative changes above and below the fused vertebrae. You can also develop scarring issues in the area. Avoid having this surgery unless there is instability or you have had absolutely refractory pain and cannot be functional anymore with the pain.
