RELAXES MUSCLES: Valium can be helpful in some patients with Migraine as it relaxes the muscles and reduces anxiety if used with analgesics or triptans
But most migraine patients do not need Valium or other Benzodiazepines

Levadex coming soon: Levadex is an inhaler which contains an old drug, Dihydroergotamine or dhe. Dhe injection is one of the oldest most effective migraine drugs. It also comes in a nasal spray, migranal, but it is not very effective. The injection often makes people very nauseous, but surprisingly, according to the published data, the inhaler does not. It works as fast as an injection and should become available soon.

Not really: it is an opiate and most people experience rebound headaches when they use opiates for headache pain.

Benign vertigo : Is usually positional or on other words is aggravated by head position changes.  The treatment for benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (bppv) is epley maneuvers. Google the topic and treatment for more information. Some physical therapists are trained specifically in epley maneuvers.

Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl): Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) is a muscle relaxant & would be used if the migranes were being triggered by muscle tension which is uncommon since most migraines are vascular in nature. I would think if prescribed for migraines it would be prn but there are better choices if you have true migraine headaches that could prevent or treat them.

Riboflavin: That is a big dose of riboflavin, but 400 mgs orally of it daily for 3 months was used in a study to prevent migraine and there were no adverse effects but I don't know how effective it was. By injection,however,toxicity could occur. I'm unsure whether your physician or most physicians would be comfortable with a megadose of any supplement,however. Discuss with your physician.

Neurontin (gabapentin): Anti seizure/mood stabilizer medications are options for migraine prevention, such as Neurontin, Depakote &amp; Topamax (topiramate). Discuss with your doctor.

Pressure changes : In sinus cause headaches, pretty severe at times. They can be worse if you go scuba diving, or take a plane ride as that changes the pressure in the closed, now blocked sinuses. Lesson take decongestant before diving or flying.
