Don't think so...: Abdominal discomfort during pregnancy is not to be ignored--its a warning sign that something may be wrong.  Please see my many healthtap answers on the subject of what causes abdominal pain. Not all such problems are serious, but you don't want to miss the problem that is. Give your gynecologist a call please ; get checked.

Early Pregnancy pain: It's common to have pain early in pregnancy.  Typically this pain is due to ligament stretching and growing of the uterus.  Unless accompanied by bleeding and cramping, this pain is typically normal.  One would want to make sure that you don't have a urinary tract infection, appendicitis, or gastrointestinal problems.  Sharp lower abdominal pain in pregnancy can come and go throughout the pregnanc.

Yes : Your appendix is over there too so watch for signs of fever, severe tenderness, loss of appetite.  Aches on side of abdomen are normal in pregnancy however.

Get evaluated if....: Is it possible you're having early labor pains? Does the pain subside and then come back again, or is it steady pain? If steady and/or severe pain, go to labor and delivery for evaluation. If not too bad, or is coming and going, begin to time intervals and if gets under 5 minutes apart, get to hospital as well. You're soon to be a mom - congratulations!

See your doc: You should have no lower abdominal pain during pregnancy.  Seek medical help.  Many things can cause abdominal pain during pregnancy.  Examples: urinary tract infection, ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, vaginal infections....

my. is not due until a few days after labor day but as of last tuesday i have started throwing up having trouble keeping my food down and have had lower abdomen pain but no infections what could this be pregnancy or something else?

Maybe  something els: The symptoms could be caused by a virus ot gastointestinal infection.  You may need to see your clinician to rule out all of these and pregnancy.

Hormonal imbalance: You may wish to repeat the pregnancy test. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully.
Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.
