Many things: Right upper abdominal pain is usually due to gallbladder condition.  Tightness could be from obstruction of the bile duct due to a gallstone.  The abdominal cramping/fatigue  could be due to complications from the above.  You need medical care.

: It is not feasible to provide an opinion without additional history, physical examination may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor to see if you may be depressed. Depression is treatable. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. It depends.: What you describe may be coming from your muscles as in a "pulled muscle" or may be coming from another part of your body such as your spine.  Generally a muscle strain or sprain will resolve up to  four to six weeks and rest, gentle stretches along with ice or heat, and over the counter antiinflammatory medications (if not contraindicated) may be helpful.  After that time get a medical evaluation

Could be rib problem: I see this problem very commonly in my osteopathic manipulative medicine practice. Ribs normally move up & down with respiration & are quite flexible. Sometimes, the rib gets 'stuck' losing both its ability to move & its flexibility. Some serious health problems can cause this, but usually it is just a tight muscle or ligament & can be easily fixed with osteopathic manipulation.

Pain rt side midback: We do need more history, like if there is radiation of pain towards groin or any where else, if you have any difficulty in urination or blood in the urine.If the pain is worse on movements and intensity of pain
but the first thing comes to my mind with pain in this area is kidney pain, or it can be just muscular pain.So consult your doctor to find out what it is and get treated.
