No: Biphosphanates are not a good drug to take for most bone problems it stops the reabsorption of bone cells that have died in the normal course of metabolic activity and leaves dead cells in the bone as if those dead cells will stop osteoporosis. 
That premise is proven wrong and the drugs should not be used by anyone. 
Osteoporosis and not cause be a deficiency of biphosphenates.
