i m taking taltz for controlling my psoriasis problem.  i have a feeling that the effectiveness of the medication is starting to drop after one year as i m seeing that i have some flare for my psoriasis on my scalp.  is my assumption correct?

Talk to your doctor: Although drug tolerance can develop to many drugs in some cases, it may also be from the increasing severity of your illness. Best to consult your doctor.

total bilirubin level was 1.36 mg/dl one week back. taking sylabon70 for a week. now the level is 0.57 . can i stop the medication. is the drop normal?

Stop it: You should not have been given the stuff In the first place. Lab reference ranges are set so that a few percent of healthies fall outside on either end. These values fluctuate. A slightly high value is no danger, just something for which, if persistent, an explanation should be sought.

: Medication should be managed by your Psychiatrist. It's a good idea to have a complete physical exam by your PCP to know if you have a physical illness that is causing symptoms. You could be helped by a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in multiple types of psychotherapy. If you are not confident in your Doctor please see another for a second opinion.

Local drops: Usually the drops will cure the eye problem. Very rare to have to use systemic medication.

: No treatment unless there is superimposed bacterial infection or problem persists more than 3 months. Most cases resolve spontaneously within the first three months.

This should be: Discussed with your physician ...Stopping meds on your own can be a risky endeavor.

OrthoIodination: I presume that you are taking Lugol`s solution. Each drop has 3.0 to 3.125 mg of Iodine ( 1.875 of KI and 1.25 of Iodine ). This is probably not the cause of your period not coming. Can you be pregnant? If you want to take this amount of Iodine per day you should check your spot urine for Iodine and then a 24 hours urine collection for Iodine after 50 mg of Iodine.

hi on bp medication using verahexal 240, high bp, problem once taken in morning bp drop down to 101/69/67 is that normal, used previous coversyl plus and calcicard 240mg together, worked perfectly, please give advice?

BP: Verahexal is Verapamil. It is not commonly used blood pressure medication in the US. It has some special uses when someone has an enlarged portion of the heart causing obstruction, or Atrial fibrillation or , it does treat blood pressure/ More information is needed.  The medication has a short-acting and long-acting form. The short-acting form can stop working after several hours raising BP.

Myoclonic epilepsy : You may want to consult your neurologist about switching to a more efficacious anti-epileptic drug or adding another one
