Not too cool.: These are injuries that occur when either the body or a specific body part is subjected to temperatures that are below the minimum the body requires for normal cellular activity. As the tissues are cooled to lower and lower temperatures, normal metabolic activity is impeded. The resulting conditions can lead to hypothermia, freezing of skin and tissue fluids and eventually death.

Frostbite injury: Cold weather injury is most likely known as frostbrite. It can effect any part of the body but most commonly effects extremities. Treatment is directed at gentle (not rapid) rewarming of the effected part. Observation is subsequently monitored. Pathophysiology involves vascular occlusion and necrosis. Once tissues have demarcated, debridement and reeconstruction is instituted.

Yes: Any injury to someone with a hypercoagulable state can cause a blood clot.

Once fluid collects: and forms hydrocele will not reduce by medication. If it is a large size  surgery is only option , which is low risk out patient surgery . medications will not help.

Arthritis?: This is most likely from arthritis which is often helped with heat and worsened with cold temperature. You might have had overused it  (sports, lifting etc) in the past. If topical or oral NSAID does not  help and the condition starts to affect your quality of life, an orthopedist consult may be the next step.  If this is just a minor issue not affect QOL, wait till it does.

Sweating profusely : If this is a new symptom, it is important to see your provider to check your vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, etc) and obtain some bloodwork (to evaluate your thyroid, check electrolytes and glucose, other hormones, etc.)   can sometimes be medication/supplement/substance side effect-related also.

Worrisome symptoms: Your symptoms are worrisome. They may be due to either a heart or a lung condition, and require urgent evaluation. Asthma or spasm in the airways in response to cold weather is common, and is easily diagnosed and treated. Passing out  requires cardiac, and even neurological evaluation to be completely investigated. While most cases of passing out are not due to a serious illness, some are. See MD!

i am 21, very active. never had a knee injury. i have knee pain after running/biking, & in cold weather. after warm showers my knees are tight.

Knee pain: Knee pain can be due to osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid, gout or other autoimmune diseases. You need to consult your physician for a work up
