Unlike actual cholesterol level, triglyceride varies greatly from day to day with dietary intake. So postmeal maybe very high, but normal in fasting. However, i would assume if someone told you your pain was bimodal, they were trying to tell you that you are having pain for two different reasons. For example, if you have neuropathic pain in your leg and a sprained, ankle, that could be seen as bimodal. Normally we use bimodal to describe rates of pathology and diff age peaks.
