Unknown mass: Sounds like you need to see a doctor asap. Could be a bowel tumor or a large hernia. Tests like a sonogram, cat scan, MRI and xrays will be helpful.

Hopefully not.: In the absence of an actual physical examination, a superficial, movable, non-tender mass like this could be a lipoma, a benign overgrowth of fat cells.  They're generally roundish and firm-but-squishy as opposed to rock-hard.  BUT, it would be wise to get this checked out just to be sure.  They can be resected.

A 'hard mass': In your abdomen is not a normal finding with or without a urinary tract infection.  That is something that needs to be evaluated quite soon...Like today.

Need more info: I am not sure if I understand your question. If you have a cyst, that is a good reason for having pain in lower abdomen. The cyst can enlarge, rupture or twist. Please see your doctor.

Need: Examination to ensure that it is a Lipoma. Lipomas are usually benign but sometimes will require excisional biopsy to confirm

i have a small spongy mass on my penis mid shaft. it runs circumferential about 1/4'. pain during sex and radiates to my lower abdomen. treatable?

Possibly: It's possible that you have a blood clot in the vein on your penis or a varicose(enlarged/dilated) vein on the penis. Treatment option can vary depending on what the diagnosis is so I would encourage you to seek in person evaluation by a physician/urologist.  You should be careful if you decide to engage in sex and be good about lubricant use to prevent traumatizing the area.  Best of luck.
