A member asked:

I have a small grape size movable mass on my left lower abdomen, painless. should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hopefully not.: In the absence of an actual physical examination, a superficial, movable, non-tender mass like this could be a lipoma, a benign overgrowth of fat cells. They're generally roundish and firm-but-squishy as opposed to rock-hard. BUT, it would be wise to get this checked out just to be sure. They can be resected.
