Eat healthy/Exercise: Do not get into any of the stuff you are talking about. Go after the proven interventions. Eat low fat -plant based diet and exercise daily. These interventions will lower your LDL and increase the HDL level(use of unsaturated fats found in fish, nuts and in avocados) can also help. Avoid saturated fats(found in dairy products and in animal fats/meats).

would apple watch ecg show a problem if my heart beat were irregular? i was walking into walgreens and all the sudden it started  to beat fast then stopped like a minute later when i sat down. i have high cholesterol also.

Monitor: This does have the capacity to monitor  your heart rate and collect the data.  It would collect how long you rate was fast and that can be helpful. I am unaware if the watch can actually take a rhythm strip.
