There are case reports showing that addition of other medications such as buspirone, amantadine, and bupropion have reversed ssri induced sexual dysfunction.  However, rather than adding a second medication you might want to consider a different medication for depression than Lexapro (escitalopram) to avoid this side effect.

Pain, depression?: A series of back surgeries often comes with periods of severe chronic pain, and depression often shows up shortly after the onset. Both tend to sabotage sex drive, and many of the pain meds further suppress desire and performance. If you do suspect depression and have not been evaluated, see a psychiatrist or therapist for help. If on pain meds, mention this to md and ask about adjusting the meds.

The first step would be a checkup to rule out medical problems.

No: Libido means desire for sexual activity.  Male libido does not automatically decrease at age 49.  It's variable in men and their situations.  The type of stimuli which excite them -- and the rapidity of erections, etc -- may change over time.  Fatigue, alcohol and substance abuse, come medications, depression, etc -- those can all definitely interfere with libido.
