Help is available: You need to start by getting a medically supervised withdrawal from the oxycodone.  Your primary care provider should be the best place to start.  There are inpatient and outpatient options, as well as short-term and longer-term maintenance therapies to help you gradually (or even more quickly) get off the oxycodone and find new ways to cope with life. Counseling needs to be a strong part of help.

ive been taking percocets 10/325. they help alot with my pain i just found out i'm allergic to it. what will they prescribe me now?

Need more info...: Opiate meds are only really indicated for acute pain, or chronic  malignant pain. If your painful condition meets the above criteria, then opiates are indicated.
Opiates are known to cause more nausea and vomiting and it is unlikely that the you'll develop allergy esp. if you have taken percocet 10/325 for a long time. The answer isnt that easy. You ma have to try other med to see your response

Opiates: should only be used for TEMPORARY treatment of ACUTE pain and are a poor choice for chronic use except in certain medical sitiatuations (eg terminal patients) On of the reasons is that opiates often PRODUCE rebound pain and almost always require INCREASED DOSAGE for same effect!

Back pain: The back pain can be caused by muscle strain, spinal stenosis, ruptured disc, nerve impingement ...  
The treatment of back pain depends on the cause of the pain.  It can be physical therapy, massage, heat pads, medications, injection, surgery ....  
Narcotic medication is not the only treatment.  Please see a pain specialist for evaluation.

Better: do before it is too late. Overdose on Opiod dependency is easy as tolerance develops. Suggest an impatient rehabilitation or Subaxone MD or both ASAP

Several reasons: First of all narcotics like percocet are best used for acute pain, not chronic pain. If not passing your drug test means that the doctor saw illegal substances in your drug screen then that is probably the reason for lowering your percocet. Narcotics mixed with street drugs are very dangerous and can result in death.  Doctors can decrease doses if they feel it is necessary or dangerous for you.

This is an overdose: If you are thinking of suicide go to the nearest er for help. The amount of tylenol (acetaminophen) can cause liver failure. Accidental narcotic overdoses are increasing .Please go to an er and get help.
