Not Much: It may really cause skin irritation, but little else.

Chemicals & babies: Any chemicla is abd for babies.Especially if it is aerosol form or if the body comes in contact with the chemicals. Some babies will get hteir airways irritated. No one knows the long term effects of these cleansers.

dog has clostridium in stool & was given antibiotics. we have a newborn & anytime we clean up we wash our hands. before we knew dog was sick we only cleaned carpet with arm & harmer pet cleaner, not lysol. should we be concerned? symptoms in infant?

Symptoms: Any symptoms like fever or diarrhea in the infant? If not , nothing to be tested and not to worry, as long as dog has no symptoms and completed treatment.

14w6d pregnant. used lysol wipes while wearing gloves to clean out shower. probably spent 7 minutes total wiping. no skin contact. would take breaks to step out of shower for fresh air. slight smell (lemon scent).  is this harmful to baby?

Not really: You do want to be careful around chemicals and make sure that you're not using something obviously toxic, but a basic cleaner you get in the grocery store is unlikely to cause any significant harm to the baby. Now if it damages you in some way, that could harm the baby by extension, but if you're doing ok the baby probably is too.

6wkspregnant. xfit gym i use has every1 wipe down equipment w/ lysol/pinesol mix. i havent sprayed since ttc but i can smell it & ppl spray it next to me. today i left midclass bc cleaner smell was strong after sprayed close to me. cause baby harm?

Baby should be fine: Great news, inadvertent or transient inhalation of routine cleaning products should not confer any increased risk to your baby.  Congratulations on the pregnancy!

Brief exposure is ok: If only on skin surfaces, brief exposures are ok, but it's best to use wipes made for skin. There are probably 5 different kids of Lysol wipes, so one would have to read the labels to see what's in them. The most common wipes likely have alcohol, similar to any hand sanitizer gel.  Wipes made for skin will likely have gentler ingredients or gentler amounts of the ingredients. Diaper wipes are ok.

Yes: But it may be a good idea to where gloves when you clean and try not to inhale any chemicals.

Accepted Answer

: If you are talking about Botox that has been injected into your skin, no -- nothing applied to the surface of your skin will have any effect on Botox in the underlying layers.

Lysol ?: Of course it is better to use gloves when handling lysol, even if not pregnant. The amount absorbed through your skin will not harm the fetus at this point.

Probably not, but: soap and water is much better for cleaning skin.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.
