? pubertal ?: About 1/2  males will undergo a transient  nipple/breast enlargement  at he onset of puberty. Most will resolve slowly as other hormonal changes kick in over about  a year. If he's not starting puberty it could be something more worrisome.His primary doc can sort this out.

U/S: Should first start with an ultrasound for a breast mass, for an initial evaluation. If over 40, 0 or u/s so necessitates, mammogram would then be obtained.

Infection: That sounds very uncomfortable!  There are a few things that can cause "blistery lumps", but you should see a doc in person for an exam.  Recommend you don't pop blisters or other lesions in the future--can lead to complications and additional infections.

Breast Lesion: This is likely a benign process given your young age, but given that rarely these may still represent a malignancy in a young person. See your physician for an exam and also a diagnostic ultrasound (or mr, if indicated). Often that can help guide treatment. Common benign processes in your age group are fibroadenoma, fibrocystic changes, intraductal papilloma, and fat necrosis among others.

Blocked milk duct: Mel23=melanie, 23 y/o? It is likely that some of your breast glands/ducts are temporarily blocked causing some swelling and soreness. If you are close to your period, this is likely the case. Warm compresses, gentle massage, motrin/aleve for couple of days will likely be helpful. If worsens, consult your doc. Good luck.
