Hematoma: After a fall, there is inflammation and some blood accumulating from broken small blood vessels. It depends on what you are feeling. Otherwise, use warm compress on it to mobilize it. Then show it to your doctor to make sure, and proper treatment can then be instituted. Please no more falls.

Need more info?: Most lumps in chest in young males are benign.  If painless, mobile, rubbery, it is likely a lipoma.  If more like water balloon, with central pore, it is more likely a sebacious/epidermal cyst.  If hard/fixed or tender lump, get it evaluated. Take Care!

Sweat glands, hair follicles and skin cysts as well as lymph nodes, fatty tissue, breast tissue and other things.  Is the lump growing, inflamed, painful, painless, draining, recurrent or constant, moveable or fixed...?  Each of these (and many more) will provide your doc the answers as to what it is and what needs to be done.

Boils treatment: Do not squeeze, wait when the boil starts draining. Wash the area with soap and water, clean with alcohol and apply neosporin otc. Repeat 3-4 times a day until complete healing is achieved. For pain NSAID otc as needed. Rec.: if concerned or running a fever see your pcp.
