Evaluation: Difficult to assess by your description. But any mass, with or without pain, should be evaluated.  By your description it sounds like its involving a nerve.

See your doctor: Pain in the penis is often related to infections in the bladder or urethra and sometimes the prostate, so examination is important. Scar tissue (peyronie's usually causes a curvature with erection) or trauma can also be causes. Other causes include prolonged erection or priapism which is not uncommon in sickle cell disease.

i had a ct scan done for a lump in my neck. dr. found enlarged veins in the back of my head. what does that mean?

Enlarged vein: Not clear. Were these veins in your brain or over your brain or in the scalp? Sounds like an incidental finding of likely no clinical significance since that is not why you had the scan. What kind of scan did you have and what was the lump in your neck? You will only get useful answers if you provide useful information.

: Lymph nodes are located throughout the body &amp; generally noticeable in exposed areas like the neck where they are not hidden by fat or tissues. They are usually pea sized at rest and enlarged when stimulated by bug bites, dermatitis, drainage or infection. They rarely can become damaged by infection &amp; grow to golf ball size &amp; need drainage or removal.

Normal to see them.: Temporal veins are normally seen but not felt.  Temporal arteries can normally be felt with your fingers.

Multiple reasons.: Facial veins like hand veins often change in size throughout the day and is due to many factors such as hydration, sun exposure, hereditary, heat, physical activity, stress and anything that would make the veins dilate or constrict.  There are also some medical conditions such as heart failure, kidney and liver failure which could contribute but not in a healthy 34 Y.O.

Monitoring Centers: Lymphatic system absorbs/carries things too big to go into the arteries/veins like bacteria eaten by white cells and digested food. Lymph nodes "taste" the lymph for anything bad  like bacteria/viruses/cancers, etc. When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system and your body reacts.  They enlarge in response to the inflammation they create when they react.  They shrink when all is well.
