Biomechanical: Carrying a heavy toddler will, of course, put a strain on the back muscles. The deep muscles of the back, along with quadratus lumborum may be involved. Start with yoga style stretching for the low back, also leg crosses and pulling kness to chest while lying on the floor. If your hips have rotated from repetitive strain, you may need to see a physical therapist for sacroiliac joint correction.

Lumbar strain: due to overuse or injury of the muscles of the lower back. Sciatica is usually one sided sharp, knife-like pain radiating from the buttock straight down the front or back of one or both legs. I suggest an examination and imaging.

excruciating lower back pain (left side) for months, always hurting. when i get up from sitting position, cannot walk right away. took x-ray. what does non acute findings, early arthritic changes to the lumbar spine and mild curvature, scoliosis mean?

: It means you have early signs of west &amp; tear in the spine, in addition to mild curvature that is consistent with scoliosis. These are not new findings (nonacute) and have likely been there a while. These findings are not uncommon in folks who have no pain, so they may have nothing to do with your pain. Please follow up with a clinician to discuss further evaluation &amp; management of your pain.

Stomach is just: Under left rib cage. Lower could be colon, or if pain radiates from back check for kidney stone. Any other symptoms associated with urination? See pcp bring urine first mornings.

LBP and menstrual pa: Low back pain is common around the time of menstruation.  It may be referred from the uterus, fallopian tubes or ovaries.  Have you had regular periods?  Is there a chance you could be pregnant?

Kidney bleeding?: Bruising of the flank can result from internal bleeding near the kidney, which could cause pain similar to kidney stone. However, a stone itself is not likely to cause bruising. This could be serious:  contact your doctor ASAP. If not seeing a urologist, ask your doctor about possible referral to one. Good luck!
