Need info: Elevated ESR and CRP are indicative of an inflammatory process like arthritis or infection. U need further blood work and testing to see why. Most likely arthritis bc u would know if u had an active infection. Now the depression can be a side effect of the underlying cause.

History & Physical: Symptoms you are describing don't easily fit together.  Before jumping to tests a thorough history and complete physical exam will help lead your doctor into ordering the appropriate studies.

Lower back pain: You may have a neurologic problem caused by what is commonly called a slipped disc. There are pain management specialists, orthopedic surgeons, and rheumatologists that can all examine you and make treatment recommendations. Additionally, many people get pain relief from Chiropractors. Sorry, this can't be fixed by just taking a pill or rubbing on a salve. Seek professional care.

Seek your doctor: You may have irritation of some of the nerve roots of the spine or the spine itself(though you'd be young for this).  Really consider seeing your primary care doctor better define what's causing your symptoms.  This will help you come to a better plan of action(treatment) and get you feeling better sooner.

Be seen: You may have a "pinched nerve" in your back.
Look out for weakness in the leg and foot as well as bowel or bladder control issues as these may be signs of a severe nerve injury.
A doctor can examine you and gauge the severity of your issue and devise a plan for your evaluation and treatment.

: Most lower back problems and associated symptoms are self-limited and recurrence can be prevented with back exercise. You can use local warm or cold pack locally for the symptoms + taking OTC analgesic if needed but you need to see a physiatrist or a physical therapist for exercise lessons.
