Low: Normal percentages of neutrophils in most labs will run between 40-70%. 37% is lowish but if you are well, simply have it repeated and see want direction it is trending.

Accepted Answer

Probably not: But depends on the actual neutrophil count.  So multiply the percentage of neutrophils x the total wbc.  Example:  WBC 5.0 (5000) and neutrophils are 80%, then the goal neutrophil count is 4000.  Now unless your neutrophils are less than 800 or you have recurrent infections, I do not get overly concerned.  Approximately 6% of the population has a low white count.  Hope this helps.

Need more info: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, it would have been helpful to have your total WBC count. However, the percentages you gave are, per se, not a cause for concern.

Depends: I would discuss your results with the doctor who ordered the test. The MD takes into account your whole clinical picture. Atypical Lymphocytes are seen in Epstein Barr Virus or Mononucleosis. Sometimes Viral infections can cause the Neutrophils to be low and hi lymphocytes. Remember it could also be a lab error. If you feel fine relax. If worried go back to Doctor and redo the abnormal labs

Scared of What?: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, there is nothing to worry about the results you provided.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

Numbers fine: Those numbers are fine for your lymphocyte and neutrophil percentages. You can have virus infections that hold on for a while causing symptoms, but more likely the chronic symptoms are caused by allergies.  I would work with your doc or and ENT to determine cause of your chronic symptoms, and then add if an allergist if felt to be allergic in nature.

I really depends: On how low.  The absolute count (wbc x percent neuts) than is important.  If that number is above 500 and no mouth sores or unexpected infections then the thought would be just follow.

May never find why: With the challenging medical history you have outlined, the cause may never be found. Two questions to ask are whether junior has autoantibodies against his neutrophils, and whether the rises and falls cyclically.  The levels to which the neutrophils are falling are probably not dangerous, but more severe neutropenias exist. I wish you both luck.

Absolute counts: Are the most important when evaluating blood count results.  It is always important to evaluate labs in the context of patient complaints and symptoms.  If they are normal range, and there are no blasts or abnormal cells, then most likely nothing to worry about.  These may be the child's normal range or a mild virus.

Diarrhea/fever,,: Your lab values are fine and you're likely fine, but you've got diarrhea and fever and there must be some reason for why that is.  Unless it goes away or there is an obvious reason for it, it might be wise to see your doctor for some tests on your stool to find out why.  It still may not be anything serious as your neutrophil and eosinophil count aren't high at all.  Good luck.
