Anemia: Hi
It isn't dangerous in the sense that it's life threatening. Commonly in young women anemia is due to iron deficiency from blood loss from menstruation. It's very easy to diagnose and treat but there are many other causes for anemia as well. Because there is risk for blood loss during any surgery, it is best to have your levels in the normal range before going to surgery. Hope this helps

Can be: Diet change can improve glycemic control and lower hgba1c. If obese, weight loss can reduce Insulin resistance,  so your body's own Insulin can better regulate your sugar level, which will also improve that #.

Many possibilities: Anemia, shortness of breath and weight loss can be due to anything from occult cancer to malabsorption to any of dozens of other possibilities. If you are not satisfied with your own physician's ability to explain your workup, please get a consultation now, perhaps with a hematologist for starters.

Not a problem : There is no disease associated with a low ESR.   An elevated ESR is a nonspecific indicator of inflammation. There are many possible of a high ESR--infection, malignancy, or autoimmune disease.

Not really. : 9.4 is low but it's not " Too"' low. More important is whether you are having symptoms of anemia( heart racing, low blood pressure, short of breath, etc). See your doc SOON: Find out why you have such a profound iron deficiency anemia- causes generally due to menstrual loss, gut loss, poor absorption of iron due to bowel diseases like celiac sprue, and/or poor intake. Underlying diseases can cause loss of appetite, or rsult of iron def. Low iron can cause fatigue, bruising, irritability, poor concentration (even w/o anemia). Low HGB can cause w/stroke, heart problems.
