Need background: Folic acid deficiency is rare in males. it is largely a problem in young women in the child bearing age.
If the Folic acid level in the body is low, it can cause Anemia. The symptoms of anemia include tiredness, fatigue and weakness.
Why did you have your Folic acid checked? Do you have anemia(low Hemoglobin?. Send  us your CBC results so we can verify if you have Anemia.

That is quite: An elevated platelet count.  She needs evaluation for essential thrombocythemia and exam to look at spleen size.  She is at risk for both clotting and bleeding.

Get lab work: No period for three months can be from the stress you have but i recommend getting lab work to confirm you thyroid, other hormone levels are fine.  You should also have your ferritin, vitamin d and b levels checked because they are probably low contributing to your fatigue.  Low Folic Acid should be replaced with Folic Acid 800mg daily.  Not sure what kidney bor is.

See below: Your stomach upset is not likely to be related to your folic acid intake. It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you. If the symptoms persist more than 3-4 days, you should consult your doctor.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

Complicated.: Iron sat may be elevated in heterozygote hemochromatosis if there are other defects in iron metabolism. And...There are many different defects associated with hemochromatosis.  Virtually all iron overload is due to hh.  None of this has any relationship to low folate (folic acid) or petechiae.  You should ask doc if you really have an iron problem. High iron sat may be due to something else. Why is folate (folic acid) low?

Anemia causes: Sure isolated folate (folic acid) deficiency like pregnancy hemolytic anemias drugs. The drugs mentioned do not cause drop in hemoglobin check with your hematologist.

Folic acid: Folic acid supplement "just because" are never good. If the person on behalf of which you are inquiring is Folic Acid deficient, then he needs to be considered for supplementation. Otherwise, taking vitamins without clear deficiency or situations that require supplementation (certain meds that interfere with vitamin metabolism), may be even harmful.
