? nerve root : Could be a compressed or irritated nerve root from a disc or arthritic spur in the low back region / from the sound of it potentially at l3-4   or l2-3 
go get it checked out.

Usually disc: Excruciating pain from the hip down to the ankle can be due to a disc prolaplse causing nerve root pressure or the possiblity of a bony injury producing irritation of the adjoining nerve and or muscle needs to considered. Bursal inflmmation around the hip can also produce these symptoms.

i have an epidural steriod injection coming up in 4 days, may i still take tramadol hcl 50mlg for my low back,leg pain?

Do see any problem: I don't think this should be a problem.  Since the tramadol is orally administered and does not contain any steroids to "add" to your steroid "load" , you should be OK.

Discuss w surgeon: The bac pain is probably normal postop pain. The numbness of the leg needs evaluation. There are a couple of nerves that can get compressed during hysterectomy which can cause this. Schedule a follow up appt.

Low back/leg pain: 28 year old lady with low back pain involving her buttocks and leg as well. While there has been significant time since your delivery, did you have spinal epidural anesthesia? Please get evaluated immediately. Usually pain that is worse in the morning and improves throughout the day is inflammatory in nature. You need a full history and exam, spinal pathology can be present.

Injury?: Most musculoskeletal problems resolve in time and relative rest.  If your pain is affecting your ability to work or perform daily activities then go see your doc.  A stronger anti-inflammatory or other meds may be helpful during your body's natural healing process.  Physical therapy is also a good first treatment option.
