Dryness: Because they absorb moisture, they can be very dry when you remove them.  You can dry lubrication the inside of the vagina a little with k-y jelly before you remove it, and this can help.

Recommend that you avoid super tampons with cardboard applicators when you first start. There are may u tube videos that provide instruction on proper tampon insertion. Change tampons roughly every 4 to 6 hours. Do you have specific ?
