Not related: The hysterectomy that long ago wouldn't cause or contribute to the new facial hair, and hair loss.  Which could be due hormonal issues, nutrient deficiencies, thyroid dysfunction or other causes.

Hair Loss: Two medication help with male pattern hair loss: rogaine (minoxidil) for men which is topical and Propecia which is oral.

Alopecia: Male pattern baldness is helped but not fully prevented by minoxidil. It takes many weeks for the benefit to be clear. There is another treatment that is additive to help prevent male pattern baldness - the pill finasteride (1mg). Marketed as Proscar for prostate cancer (5mg pills can be split in 4) , or as Propecia for baldness treatment. Both treatments have to be continued indefinitely.

Steroid excess: Your symptoms do suggest an excess of corticosteroids. Best to be evaluated by an endocrinologist or internist to sort out the source of the problem.

Discoloration: A new discolored area in the vulva needs to be checked out. You need to see the Gyn for possible biopsy but at least for a doctor to view the area

Concerning: This can signal loss of testosterone in a grown man, even if the sexual stuff is normal. Hemochromatosis, other liver troubles, pituitary problems and a bunch of other possiblities exist. Your physician usually screens you for liver stuff fairly often, and if the libido is flagging, make an appointment.

Any pictures?: There are many reasons to do that. If you are allowed to post the picture of that area here, it will be helpful to recognize better. If you don't want to do that, I would go see a dermatologist.
