Check with your doc: What you need to do is discuss this with the doctor who is treating your hypertension. Do not arbitrarily start giving yourself extra doses of your meds without consultation with your doc. That is a recipe for disaster.

Low bp: First document that your blood pressures are accurate. If so, reducing the dose is recommended as low blood pressure, especially in older age groups, is potentially dangerous. However, don't do any changes without the ok and supervision of your treating physician.

There is none: Gluten is derived from the endosperm of grass related grains and is not found in losartan potassium.

No worries: Don't worry - just monitor for any symptoms like chest pain, vision change (blurriness), headache, weakness, feeling of faint. If that happens, drink water and see a doctor. If you have a blood pressure machine handy, you can monitor your blood pressure throughout the day.

Hypertension: Cut salt intake, lose weight, but you still may need a second medication as 60% or more patients with hypertension still may need 2 or more medications to control their blood pressure.

i take high blood pressure medication, losartan 100 mg.  the other day i took dramamine 3 tablets during the day at a theme park.   i had an syncopal episode the next morning at 10.   could this be from the combination of dramamine and losartan?

Lorsartsn faint: Would not think it was the losartan + DRA.  Was it hot at the theme park &amp;you got salt &amp; water dehydrated? Did your BP change?  If u are not taking it at home you should be. Check it seated and standing.

Or some with HBP get some dizzyness when they get a salt bomb lit

Do you get some bad food at park &amp; have a GI problem?  Or get a salt bomb (food at park) &amp; BP SHOT up? Discuss with team.

should i  be concerned if my creatinine level in blood is 1.29 mg/dl and creatine level in urine is 65.5 mg/24 hours? i have a hypertension condition and take one nyphedipine pill and one losartan pill per day. i have a severe back pain.

Yes. You should be. : Although your creatinine level in blood is nit alarmingly high but elevated creatinine is a sensitive marker of kidney bit doing well. The high blood pressure is one of the main reasons for the kidney damage and the blood pressure should be appropriately controlled. You need to check if your urine has proteins in it.

Also make sure that you don't take too many nsaids as they damage the kidneys.

As prescribed: Any dose of medication greater than prescribed by your physician can have unpredictable results. Therefore i think you should take the dose prescribed and nothing greater.
