No: Each drug has a seaprate mechanism of action. Lortab a strong morphine like pain killer-hydrocodone combined with Acetaminophen (tylenol); Lyrica (pregabalin) an anticonvulsant medication (pregabilin), and your pain patches could be a local anesthetic (lidoderm), a non steroidal anti inflammatory (flectorpatch) or another morphine like drug (fentanyl patch); no single drug will have all those actions.

i'm taking 100mg of topamax (topiramate) and its not working anymore. lortab 5 isn't working now either. i don't want more medication. what options do i have?

It depends: I'm sorry, but i'm not clear from your question or supporting information what's being treated with topomax & lortab.  Understanding that is needed before discussing any "options."  however, i'm sure your own doctors know the conditions they're trying to help you with, as well as knowing you much better than we can online.  Please tell them you don't feel  your meds are working, so they can help.

Yes: There are some medications that are believed to potentiate, or support the effects of opiates such as hydrocodone in lortab. Dextromethorphan is one substance used in cough medicine and  
designated as dm. Having said that, I have not found the effects to be well received  in my patients. Alternating the lortab with  tramadol is more effective but does require a script from a practitioner.

is it possible to have a manic episode triggered by lortab or other narcotic pain medication?

Drug Use: Narcotic medication can induce a euphoria that can be similiar to a manic episode of depression. However, when the effects of the med wears off, so does tge euphoria. You won't experience the same effects unless you would take more of the med, while mania tends to cycle regardless of environmental triggers. There are a number of other differences as well.

how much water should i drink when taking lortab? this medicine (hydrocodone 500 mg) was prescribed to me today and the instructions say to drink plenty of water when taking the medication.  my diagnosis was a uti and i am taking an antibiotic called sulf

Check vitals: Hard to say what is happening here. However, you want to check if you are having a drug reaction to the medications that you have described. This is like an allergic reaction.You can also check your blood pressure/ pulse.If your blood pressure drops too low, you can have some of these symptoms. Lortab /percocet are opiate type drugs which are known to have a tendency to drop blood pressures.
