Yes, any "D" drug : The "d" in claritin-d, or Mucinex (guaifenesin) - d and others,  all stand for decongestant.  Decongestants are medications that stimulate the adrenaline system and can cause higher blood pressure and heart rate.  While not bad for short time, may cause problems if used chronically.  Check with your dr. If you have high blood pressure or heart rhythm problems before using these medications.

do sinus/allergy pills affect heart rate? after taking claritin (loratadine) d my heart seems to be going crazy! just going from sitting to standing doubles my hr.

Yes decongestants: Yes decongestants , such as sudafed will raise heart rate and cause palpitations.  So Claritin (loratadine) d will, but plain Claritin (loratadine) is less likely to.

Not usually: Claritin (loratadine)-d can cause elevated BP in those who already suffer from hypertension.  Claritin (loratadine) can cause arrhythmias (disorders of heart rhythm) and so can the "d" part, pseudoephedrine.  If you have hypertension or heart problems, you should stay away from most decongestants, most people can use antihistamines such as plain Claritin (loratadine) safely however.

i have pots syndrome. can i still take claritin d for nasal congestion?  i find it helps with my low blood pressure but increases my heart rate.

Again low: If a drug causes your heart rate to increase, it is likely not good for you.  As for low blood pressure, as long as it is not a drop from your usual BP , it may well be a good thing since people with low normal BP tend to live longer.  I had advised that you consider a nasal steroid in another post.

Heart rate: Heart rate normally varies depending on supply and demand for cardiac output. Drugs, conditioning and other things can also cause heart rate change up or down.

Heart rate: We generally would not recommend reaching 200bpm with regular exercise.  For a well 36y/o, a training rate of 150 - 160 would be more what we'd recommend.

: It is unclear what you did before the showering and what you are doing in the shower, so really cannot comment. However, for a young healthy 17-year-old, when you exercise your heart can get above 200 with strenuous exercise and this should return to normal level as you cool down to a typical resting rate of 60-80.

Normal heart rate.: At rest, assuming your heart rate is in normal sinus variety, your heart rate should be somewhere between 60 to 100 bpm, unless you are athletic in which case it could be a bit below 60. With exertion, the maximum heart rate would be 220 minus your age. Anything above that would be considered too high.
