See a podiatris: Need to see a podiatrist to make sure you have not fractures. I highly doubt that she could have damaged your nerves. You will need x-rays and further evaluation.

Swelling toe: There may have been an underling fracture? You may want to have it examined and get an XR. It is not normal to have that much swelling from a bruise or contusion. All the best.

Could be fracture: The little toe bones can break fairly easily. X-ray can tell for sure, however is rarely necessary since a fracture normally heals without treatment.  The little toe can be taped to its neighbor to reduce pain.

Numbness in toes: Frequently girls/ladies will wear shoes that pinch the front of the feet and this puts pressure to the nerves that run between the metatarsal heads (ball of feet) and this can make the area feel numb. This can become very painful over time. Squatting, tip toes and tight shoes should be avoided. 
Your local podiatrist can quickly get to the bottom of this for you.
