could i hav marfans? recently got diagnosed w/ mild mvp. postive marfans wrist test but not thumb test. female, not tall (5 ft 2), arm span not longer than height, skinny, long fingers,  score 3 in ghent criteria. no protuding chests nor myopic. help

Wouldn't think so: If I remember correctly as many as 10% of the female population can show a mild degree of mitral valve prolapse by their teen years and beyond. That makes it relatively common where Marfan's is rare. Your observations make it unlikely you could fit the diagnosis. Discuss it with your doc the next time you go in.

No: It is what it is  . There are some medical conditions associated with very long or very short fingers but as an isolated thing it isn't good or bad.

In most cases no...: Long fingers in isolation are not a problem.  Some times long fingers are associated with systemic problems (eg. Marfans) and thus can have additional health risks.

No unless you : Have a signicant congenital difference with functional librations  a hand surgeon will not offer a finger procedure to lengthen a digit. Cosmetic surgery and hand surgery do not  mix well.    The most essential issue in the hand is fiction followed elimination of pain deformity  that are functionally limiting

No: No correlation. Just a myth as with correlating shoe size to length of penis.
