Too general: If truly inflamedthen liver function tests and a hepatitis profile are indicated. If just a fatty liver, then dietary changes are needed.

Fatty liver: Fatty liver, a health risk, associated with elevated liver enzymes. It's treatable with weight loss n monitoring. This can be managed, (not cured) with low fat diet, extra hydration and monitoring. Cirrhosis, permanent damage to liver, usually from toxins like alcohol. Stay with your doc, a low fat diet and be well.

See doctor: The size of the spleen is of note.  This enlarges for many reasons.  The liver also enlarged is of concern as well.  There should be a coordinated laboratory values to help make sense of imaging results. Not a good idea to speculate on cause without more data. Speak to your doctor for more data

If your GI, who examined you, saw the imaging studies is not able to decipher the issue, it is unreasonable to expect some one in this forum to do better. Sometimes one needs to observe the course of issues to come to a diagnosis.

How large?: Liver enlargement is often noted on studies and may be of no consequence. It has to do with how large.  Anything that causes backup  of pressure on the venous side can cause enlargement of the liver.

Fatty Liver: The most common cause of enlarged liver is fatty liver.  Fatty liver generally develops in those who are overweight and may have diabetes and elevated cholesterol.  It is best to work on controlling all these features.   Your doctor should continue to follow you.
