"Stretch mark" ?'s: "Stretch marks" represent a result of over distention of the skin and underlying elastic layers of the dermis.  While some drastic "plastic" surgery may create some improvement (less noticeable), there is currently no way through medication to restore original elasticity of skin.

Likely no effect: Several forms of commercially-produced liquid collagen are found in beauty products and nutritional supplements and less often as a bodybuilding supplement that promotes muscle growth and joint support. No validated scientific evidence that it will have any beneficial (or negative) effects(s) on your condition or recovery from orthopedic surgery. You should discuss this with your surgeon as well.

: Huh???  The amount of misinformation on this and similar sites is truly astounding.  “Just the facts, ma’am”. Collages is broken down in the stomach by gastric acid. Is never absorbed. Minoxidil does not affect your collagen level (measure it if you don’t believe (test CTX-1 at Nichols Labs)).

Some treatments for hair loss- usually not very effective. Check with a reliable physician

It is distinct from arthritis, which is joint degeneration/inflammation. Fullness in your knee could be an effusion, which is an abnormal accumulation of fluid in the joint space associated with arthritis or trauma. A medium effusion means a medium amount of fluid in the joint space.

Collagen, vit c: collagen +c is, a supplement? Vit c is essential to build collagen, collagen is a basic protein that comes in multiple varieties depending on location  .  If one is 31 and have facet joint arthritis in the lower back , id rule out , spondylolisthesis, sponylolysis, ankylosing spondylitis, a herniated disc and other things before Id consider facet arthritis unless inflammatory arthritis or trauma

Fibromyalgia: This condition is a very complicated chronic pain disorder that requires close followup with your doctor to see what combination of treatments help. Usually the pain is not completely eliminated, but can be helped. Supplements as you mentioned may be helpful, but also there are medications like gabapentin or lyrica that address the actual pain mechanism of fibromyalgia. Your doc can help too.

Not collagen: Collagen will not help facet joint arthritis. Lessening the load on the back by keeping weight in the normal range and by good posture (Yoga, exercise) may slow the progression of facet joint degeneration.

Arthritis: If it's simply wear and tear osteoarthritis,  diet doesn't play a significant role. Some people get relief from taking glucosamine and chondroitin. If no improvement after 3 months, I don't feel that it's worthwhile continuing it.

Arthritis: Ibuprofen 600 mg 2-3 times a day or Aleve (naproxen) 1-2 a day

Drug interactions: Without knowing the medications,  it is very difficult to say that the medications interact.  Your pharmacist should be able to tell you if there is an interaction.  If you have an iphone there is an app called epocrates that has a drug interaction check which is what I use in the clinic.  With any medications, there is always a chance of drug interactions.
