It may be induced by stress, sunlight, and an underlying illness.  Other causes include an allergy to a cosmetic ingredient.  Systemic medications can also be associated with lip blisters.

Avoid pressure: You are putting too much pressure on you lips.  As a trumpet player i can tell you that you should not press the instrument mouthpiece too hard onto your lips. With time and practice you will be able to avoid this problem.

Cold sore?: If you do nothing and it is a cold sore it will go away in 7-10 days. You can use abreva or zovirax (acyclovir) ointments to speed the process.
