Excision is best: You may have a mucocele which is a raised area on the lip that contains trapped saliva where bite trauma occured to one of the many minor salivary glands in the lip.

There is no medical treatment. It may decompress when bitten, and reaccumulate. The only definitive treatment is excision.

Orajel: If it makes you feel better, that's fine. It does not speed healing, it only relieves discomfort for a short time.

See answer : There are many potential causes of vaginal sores and discharge: vaginitis (yeast, bacterial vaginosis, trichomonas most common types) and std (herpes and syphilis) being the most common. Various types of dermatitis (contact and atopic) and intercourse-related trauma also possibilities. If sexually active, would recommend std testing and md evaluation to obtain proper diagnosis and treatment.

It's a "hot" sore: It sounds like the lip is injured and possibly infected from "hot sex" not a cold sore such as herpes. If it continues to swell and be red, she should have a MD or DDS evaluate the area as the mouth has the most pathogenic (disease producing) bacteria in the body. Yes, even more so than the  vagina.

hi - the inside of my cheeks and lips look normal but they feel sore like i've bit them.  they feel dry.  any fix for this?

Lip dry/cracked: You can use vaseline for the lips and avoid biting them
by habit. You can take Tylenol for mouth pain until it resolves and heals.
