Laugh  syncope: I've heard of this before.  Laugh- induced syncope or gelastic syncope is usually self limited and results from temporary decreased blood flow to the brain. Breathing reflexes result in strong stimulus to rebreathe.  If you have heart problems or other concerns regarding this laugh-induced occurence, please discuss with your md.

Could mean something: Could be something of significance.  Have your doctor do some blood tests, maybe even an EKG.  BP should be checked too

Laughing: Laughing increases intra-abdominal pressure, which also compresses a large vein called the inferior vena cava, which decreases blood flow to the heart and can potentially affect cardiac output by decreasing filling of the heart. But, you also need to evaluate for other causes which include anemia, infection, dehydatrion, cardiac and neurological problems.

Inner ear: The commonest cause would be an inner ear disorder and I recommend an evaluation by an otolaryngologist who specializes in vertigo and inner ear disorders and who performs maneuvers to correct them. This speciaiist will refer you to a neurologist if it is deemed advisable and not a classic inner ear problem.

Hyperventilating : The sensation of difficulty breathing, tingling fingers, And feeling light headed can be symptoms of hyperventilating. However, this does not usually happen with laughing and cause pain in the stomach muscles. Try breathing into a paper bag when you are having symptoms. If it is hyperventilation, this will make it better. Hope this helps. If not, you need to see your PCP.
