Not affecting feet?: So you do not have any foot symptoms.   I was thinking gout initially, but that would most likely affect your great toes.   In the ten years you have had these symptoms, have you seen a doctor for this?

Unlikely to be DVT .: DVT is usually characterized by aching pain in the entire limb and 5 days after the onset would also show swelling of the leg extending proximally. The limb may also feel warm and tender. Since certain medications, pregnancy and trauma may also predispose, would look into these. Do not seen urgent need for ER but would consult with primary care doctor without delay.

Neuropathy: there are any causes for neuropathy..complications of diabetes, alcoholism, sarcoidosis, plasma cell dyscrasia, vitamin deficiency. side effects of medications nerve impingment . herniated disc.autoimmune diseases..
need good evaluation ..neurologist will be the best speciality that will help you to find out the cause

Unknown: There are too many possibilities for this forum.  A good work up will include bone structure, mechanics, soft tissue, circulation, nerves, etc. Etc.  Should discuss first with pcp or internist then see the appropriate specialist.

Many things : Can be the cause including a clot which is usually present in the calf region, tendonitis can occur, shin splints, stree fracture, poor circulation is a possibility but less common for your age group.

Not sure. : There is not enough info to tell you what is wrong.  There could be several things wrong. It could be related to your back, or a nerve problem, or some type of musculoskeletal problem. You need an evaluation and testing.

Swollen?: Did you injure leg? Overuse? Is it swollen? History of long travel or sitting for extended period or family history of blood clots? If you have these, I would see an MD.

It's normal : This happen because due to the exercise increased the rate of you pulse and also the venous pressure and the  Flow of blood.

Injections: ligaments are strong connective tissue structures. However, unlike muscles, they cannot be strengthened . In they have been damaged and stretched,over time they may heal and sometime tighten.  There ia a type of injection called.  Prolotherapy that can strengthen the ligaments.  It can be done in the doctors office and is quite safe.

Red patches: The description , unfortunately , doesn't give enough information.  As it could be a lot of different things it merits an exam to decide.  See your podiatrist or dermatologist.
