Figure skater: Knee joint and surrounding muscle pain after an activity which involves jumping , quick changes of position is of concern. Many times ur r doing too much too quickly. So. Decrease the intensity as well as length of time of your skating

: Your symptoms merit a visit to your doctor; you might be referred to a cardiologist for a careful assessment, including observation of your response to exertion either by having you walk briskly in the office, or by having you undergo an exercise stress test.

: There are many things that could cause weakness. The only way to find out what is wrong is to see your doctor and get evaluated. Your doctor will want to examine you and probably run some blood tests to see if there is anything that would cause your weakness. That is the best place to start to figure out what is wrong. A number of things: This could be related to a number of things.  If it affects that thigh area, may be meralgia paresthestica.  But like most things, if it does not improve, seek care.

Brokn en leg: Yes swelling is very common. Keep leg elevated to reduce swelling.

No: It is not normal. If they remain swollen see your doctor.

Accepted Answer

Bruising?: It can take weeks for bruises to resolve. The body eventually breaks down and reabsorbs the damaged blood products. If your symptoms are improving, then be patient. If you are concerned something else is going on, then see your doctor.

i scalded my leg with very hot (near boiling) water about a week ago. what should i do?

Scalding burns: Do u have blisters over the burna rea? If so u should see a doctor. If not u can get silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) ointment to put over the area of burn. If it is infected u should see a doc asap too. Dont wear any tight or rough clothing over it. Loose bandage is okay if it is just red and sore and not infected. Bacitracin application also helps.

serious leg pain i think since taking ciplox 500mg is this related. i am due to fly a 13hour flight in a week?

Cipro (ciprofloxacin) : Tendon injuries have been associated with this class if antibiotics .  What is more important is to rule out a deep venous thrombosis in your leg before you travel . Please contact the doctor that prescribed the medication.

a week ago, while i was shaving i accidentally cut my leg. i believe i have an infection, what should i treat my cut with?

Small cut : Small cuts can be treated with neosporin ointment for a few days. If the wound doesn't heal after few days see  a doctor. Neosporin can be found on the shelf.. Don't need prescription.
